Gosh, I think you would love Animal Kingdom. Was going to look into Discovery Cove but they didn't have openings (and much more expensive). I understand it's not really a "zoo" and it's going to have all the Disney theme park stuff.but wondering thoughts on Animal Kingdom? [Keep in mind - we just did San Diego Safari Park in August, including the 1 hour safari where we ride in a truck into the exhibit and feed the giraffes and rhinos).Īlso - is the extra VIP Safari Trek worth it? (it's 3 hours for an additional $160ish)Ĭurious as to everyone's thoughts? Hollywood Studios is the other option - but it looks kind of boring ( Universal Studios was kind of boring other than Harry Potter - other than standing in line for rides.). Never been to Animal Kingdom, so thinking of doing that. I've been to Magic Kingdom and really enjoyed it - okay, my husband and I loved it. ![]() Saturday, but thinking of doing a park on Sunday. I think I'll just explore the hotel/sit-poolside, etc. afternoon - so basically just have Sat night and all day Sunday. Have business Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning and flying back out Wed. Heading to Orlando for business - land at 3pm on Sat and staying at Disney Swan so no children to entertain on this trip :).
